BROWS

POWDER BROWS

Creating Powder Brows is performed by using a hand held machine to implant pigment to create a very natural 'make-up look'. This method of cosmetic tattooing is very popular, as you have the versatility to create soft and powdery brows or go as bolds as you like. This technique is suitable for all skin types and generally lasts between 2-5 years.

Just as Microblading, regular day-to-day activities such as exercise, the genetic composition of your skin as well as your ability to follow strict aftercare instructions will all pay a big part in the longevity of your new brows.

It is important to note that this method does not incorporate hair like strokes.

MICROBLADING

Microblading is a manual form of cosmetic tattooing which generally lasts 1-3 years, This technique is done using a very fine blade to deposit coloured pigment into the skin to fill in sparse or over plucked brows to give them a natural hair stroke look. The pigments used are perfectly matched to your actual hair colour to make your new brows look as natural as possible.

Microblading is not suitable for those with oily skin as it is typical for it to fade very quickly and/or will fade into thicker, blended strokes which will look more like soft powdered strokes. For best results, Microblading is recommended for normal-dry skin types. Regular day-to-day activities such as exercise the genetic composition of your skin as well as your ability to follow strict aftercare instructions will all play a big party in the longevity of your new brows.

COMBINATION BROWS
(aka Microshading)

Microshading is a combination of Microblading and machine shading (soft powder) which beautifully blends together creating a full and flawless look. This technique is my 'go-to' method for clients who have little to no natural brow hair and those who are use to filling their brows in.

Microshading is suitable for most skin types and generally lasts between 2-4 years. Lifestyle, skin type and your ability to follow strict aftercare instructions will all play a big part in the longevity of your new brows.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR BROW APPOINTMENT

You can expect your appointment to take between 2-3 hours. During that time we will map out where your desired brows should be, and choose a pigment colour best suited for you. The method I use to map your brows results in a very natural look, as I go with your bone structure. I try to stay as close to your natural shape as possible, as my goal is not to make you look like someone else, but to enhance your own beautiful features. After I'm done mapping I will show and explain the shape I've come to, and after your approval, we will begin!

During your appointment a manual tool or machine will be used to implant pigment, giving you the look of natural hair strokes, and/or soft powder makeup depending on what method we have chosen to give you the best outcome for your new brows. you will feel some light scratching, and then a topical anaesthetic will be applied to ensure maximum comfort throughout the entire procedure.

When the procedure is complete we will discuss aftercare instructions, and you will be provided with a take home kit which includes an aftercare balm to help aid with the healing (if necessary). It is recommended that you book a follow-up appointment prior to leaving the studio.
